Working in Partnership with Avila Nursing Home
During last year different classes visited the Nursing Home and part of the partnership focused on planting. We have been sent some lovely photographs and a message from the management team. It looks wonderful.
Message from Avila
Good morning
We would like to thank all in St Joseph’s, especially the children, who came to Avila to entertain our patients in the Spring. We would also like to thank the pupils who came to Avila to help plant up our Summer beds with lovely, colourful flowers.
We hope all the staff and pupils are enjoying their Summer break. We have all been able to appreciate the beautiful weather we have had recently.
With the help of the pupils of St Joseph’s, our residents and their families have been able to relish our courtyard garden. Patients and their families have been able to enjoy the space and use it for outside visits and also to have some activities in the garden, surrounded by all the pretty planting.
We have attached some photos so that the pupils can see how their hard work paid off. The flowers have given much joy.
We wish the school well as the Summer gives way to the Autumn and the approaching of the return to school for the new academic year.
Many thanks
Kind Regards
