Today the children completed an activity that helped them to gain a new perspective on how important our words are.
The pupils were tasked to first squeeze a full tube of toothpaste onto some tissue paper. Next, they were challenged to put the toothpaste back into the toothpaste container using a lollipop stick! As you can imagine this was impossible to do.
This lesson was to help remind the children that spoken or written words can never be taken back completely.
To end the lesson, the children used the ‘book creator’ app on the iPads to create a poster which highlighted the importance to ‘Think before you Speak’.
