Easter Message

                                                                               Friday 18th April

 Dear parents,
As we reflect on the end of our second term together and the end of Lent, we as a staff can only be but proud of your children and the hard work they have completed since December.

There have been so many high points in this term, to be honest there are too many to mention. While looking at our website and our ClassDojo platform you can get but a glimpse of the experiences offered here at St. Joseph's P.S. Bessbrook.

At our recent Easter Disco I was very proud to hear one of our staff mention, ‘how respectful, thankful and polite our children are.' These are qualities that are a fundamental part of our school.

On behalf of the staff of St. Joseph's P.S. Bessbrook may I wish you all a peaceful and well-deserved break over Easter.

Regards,

Mr. Michael Doran
Principal
St. Joseph’s P.S. Bessbrook

Maths Week 2024

St Joseph's Facebook

Congratulations to one of our parents, Barry Robb who recently run the Belfast Marathon to raise funds for our Specialist Provision classes. Barry raised a massive £2,430 and is pictured with his wife Clare, his sons Tommy, Lochie and Barry, Mrs Early and Mr Doran. We'd like to say a huge thank you to all those who donated so generously, but especially to Barry for all his hard work in preparing for and running the marathon!
Attention Primary 7!! 📸📸📸 Another milestone in our P7 year group tomorrow as the P7 pupils will get their Leavers’ photo taken. We ask all pupils to wear full school uniform. Children can change afterwards into PE gear.
Since opening in 1973, St Joseph's PS has had many, many pupils through its doors. There are strong family connections spanning generations. We currently have two nursery pupils who are the THIRD generation of their family to attend St Joseph's PS & NU. Ethan's mum Kirsty, and his granny Tracey are both past pupils and Brodie's mum Aimee and granny Cathy are past pupils also. Have we any other families out there? Please get in touch.
